Outpatient health center

Outpatient consultations and examinations are held at both the Torņakalns and Gaiļezers Children's Clinical University Hospital's locations by prior appointment with a referral from a family doctor or specialist who is in contractual relations with the NVD. A doctor's consultation, examinations and medical documentation are provided upon presentation of a document certifying the child and the parent or authorized person (birth certificate, passport or power of attorney).

Without a referral, the patient can contact the following direct access specialists:

pediatric surgeon;
pediatrician;
endocrinologist, if the patient suffers from diabetes;
oncologist, if the patient suffers from an oncological disease;
gynecologist;
ophthalmologist;
psychiatrist, if the patient suffers from a mental illness;
narcologist, if the patient suffers from alcohol, narcotic or psychotropic substance addiction;
pulmonologist, if the patient suffers from tuberculosis;
dermatovenereologist, if the patient suffers from sexually transmitted diseases;
